Position at Hilbert: I teach physical science, chemistry, physics, advanced
chemistry and advanced physics at the high school.
Hometown: Born and lived in Milwaukee for several years. Spent most
of my childhood in West Allis, which is a suburb of Milwaukee.
Family: Marie, my wife of 30 years, is a CCRN at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital
in the Intensive Care Unit. Our oldest daughter, Monica graduated from UWGB
with an English Literature degree lives in Appleton, is married and is working
in Green Bay. Our son, Eric, graduated from UW Madison in Political Science
and is now a legislative aid in the State Capitol. Our youngest daughter,
Meredith, is a certified Massage Therapist and Yoga instructor in Appleton.
Hobbies and Interest: Not much time for that the past few years since we
have been taking care of both of my wife’s parents. Still like to read mainly
history and science related books. I like to listen to music-mostly jazz,
blues and early 60’s and 70’s rock. My kids bought a brewing kit for my
birthday several years ago so that has become my number one hobby. There
is a lot of chemistry in brewing beer…my version of “Breaking Bad.”
